On Tuesday, September 25, 2018, we headed out in a rented 2018 Toyota Camry on our scenic road trip from Colorado Springs to Creede, Colorado.

We took the northern route (blue line in the map below) through Woodland Park, Divide, Lake George, Buena Vista, Salida, Villa Grove, Del Norte and South Fork. With stops for lunch, potty breaks and some picture taking, it took us 5 1/2 hours to travel the 235 miles to Creede.

The first two photos of sunflowers (especially for Amanda - her favorite flower) were taken during our lunch break at a very nice rest stop just outside of South Fork.

The last 4 photos were taken on the 21.5 miles along Rte 149 from South Fork to Creede, part of which is known as Wagon Wheel Gap, which follows the Rio Grande River.
